So how do Deep Blue divers high-five under water and know they are diving with another Deep Blue diver? That’s easy, they use the Deep Blue hand single – “Dive On”.

Not familiar with the Dive On hand single, can’t seem to find in it your Open Water manual? No worries, we can teach you the Deep Blue Dive On hand single right here in just a few minutes. That way the next time you pass a diver, you too will share the Deep Blue message of peace and “Dive On”.

OK, here’s how it goes.

STEP ONE: First bend your arm at the elbow and put your hand in front of you. Good!

STEP TWO: Now make a fist with your right hand (see Fig. 1). Great!

STEP THREE: Extend the first two fingers next to your thumb and point to your left (see Fig. 2).

STEP FOUR: Spread your first two fingers part a little like you are doing a “peace” sign. Now twist your wrist back and forth as you give the hand sign (see Fig. 3)
