Day Four: The
Most Beautiful Dives!!
OCTOBER 25, 2005 - The diving
at Tarpon Caves and Halfmoon Wall have to rank
up there with the best dives of the trip. The
boat anchored above a gently sloping sandy bottom
where a number of cuts and channels in the coral
lead downwards to a shear wall. There are plenty
of swim-throughs, caves, and overhangs. Great
places to find nurse sharks, rays, barracuda,
and more. This was some of the most beautiful
and colorful reefs that we encountered.

The night dive was just as good as the night
before. We found plenty of action down there,
including giant clinging channel crabs, lobsters,
slipper lobsters, tarpon, and arrow crabs.
