Local Diving:
The Water Could Not Be Better!
Do not miss your chance to dive the wrecks of Lake Michigan this summer; September is the best time to dive. The water is warm and the diving is cool. Last year at this time we had dives with 70 degree bottom temperatures on the Prins Wilhelm so book today before the seas get rough. We are diving twice a week on the Mai Tai if there is a wreck you want to see just call and we can schedule it.
Our recent trip to the Dredge #906 was an excellent dive we found ourselves surrounded in a large school of Alewife it was incredible. The Dredge #906 is a large barge that overturned in 1956 and is sitting in about 70’ of water off Milwaukee. There is much to see on this wreck from the huge bucket that was used to cut into the lake bottom to the large structure of the barge itself.
